About the Artist

Jared_Hall_profilePlease allow me to introduce myself… I am a wearer of many hats. Graphic specialist, production artist, technical illustrator, tattoo artist, zombie exterminator, king of goblins, steampunk gunsmith… But I am a fantasy illustrator at heart.

I have been drawing and painting for most of my life, Inspired by the works of Frazetta, Royo, Froud and Brom, I have long sought to explore the world as it “could have been” (or as it really was, is). To quote my friend Billy Jeff C. “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.”

Myth and folklore, from the Bean-sídhe to zombies. Under the aegis of my muse, I attempt to capture a moment and offer that moment to you (the viewer) and let you weave your own story. That is the sincere magic of fantasy art.

I have graduated with a BA in Illustration from The Southwest University of Visual Arts in Arizona where I currently reside with my wife and amazing children.

As an award winning Illustrator and Graphic Designer, my work has been commissioned for illustrated book covers and internal art, logos, brochures, album covers, wine labels, portraits, murals, prints and character concepts.

It seems I am always doing something, but I am also always looking for opportunities.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or a project in mind.

And welcome to my smidgeon (roughly the size of a small pigeon) of the internets.

Most sincerely,
J. Hall
